Established in the Beginning, Crafted by Trauma, Healed by Jesus

Let’s explore a profound truth that shapes our lives from start to finish: "Established in the Beginning, Crafted by Trauma, Healed by Jesus." Whether you’re curled up at home or catching a moment of peace on a busy day, this message is for you.

Established in the Beginning

"In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth." (Genesis 1:1) These first words of the Bible remind us that everything was made by God’s intentional design, including you and me! We were created with purpose and love, wonderfully made to live in harmony with Him and each other. Even when things don’t seem to make sense, we can hold onto the truth that our beginnings were rooted in God’s perfect plan.

Crafted by Trauma

It's no secret that life isn’t always a smooth ride. We encounter bumps and bruises along the way—emotional, physical, and spiritual. The Bible doesn’t shy away from this reality. Think of Joseph, who was sold into slavery by his own brothers (Genesis 37:28). His story is one of many that illustrate how our lives can be dramatically shaped by hardships. But here’s the remarkable part: these traumas are not the end of our stories.

Healed by Jesus

Enter Jesus—the ultimate healer and restorer. "He himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed." (1 Peter 2:24) Jesus took our brokenness upon Himself so that we could be healed. Not just a band-aid kind of healing, but a deep, transformative healing that restores us to wholeness.

Through Jesus, our traumas don’t define us; they refine us. Like clay in the potter’s hands, we are reshaped and remolded (Isaiah 64:8). Each crack repaired by His loving touch only makes our story more beautiful, more testimony-rich.

Living Healed and Whole

So what does this mean for us today? It means living in the light of Jesus’ healing, embracing the identity He has given us as beloved daughters of God. It means waking up each day knowing that no matter what happens, we are established by God, may be made by trauma, but most gloriously, we are healed by Jesus.

Let’s walk confidently in this truth, gorgeous friends, supporting one another and growing together in His love. Because when we sit in proximity to God, letting His truth resonate in our hearts, we are truly living a life transformed.
