Blooms & Blessings

Isn't it just wonderful to see all the flowers popping up after the cold, dreary winter?

Everywhere you look, there’s a splash of color—reds, yellows, pinks, and blues. It's a beautiful mirage of colors coming to life.

Let's talk about these flowers for a minute. You know, they didn’t just show up overnight. They’ve been working hard under the ground all through winter, waiting for their time to shine. It’s a little bit like us, isn’t it? Sometimes we go through tough times, cold and stormy seasons, where we can't see much progress. But then, just like the flowers, we end up blooming beautifully.

It reminds me of what Isaiah said:

"For as the earth brings forth its bud, as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth, so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations." - Isaiah 61:11

Imagine that! Every challenge we face is just a bit of rain, helping us grow. And what about the rain? Well, we might not always like it when it pours and our plans get all soggy. But without it, there would be no blooming gardens. Just like Isaiah pointed out:

"He will also send you rain for the seed you sow in the ground, and the food that comes from the land will be rich and plentiful." - Isaiah 30:23

This spring, as we step outside and see all those happy flowers and lush green trees, let’s remember to appreciate both the sunny days and the rainy ones. They both play a part in bringing about the beauty we see around us.

So go out there, enjoy the sun, dance in the rain, and watch as the world around you blossoms. After all, every flower that blooms is a blessing.
